ESTABLISHED TO ACQUIRE UNREGISTERED LAND
Donisthorpe Community Interest Company has been established to acquire unregistered land, Church Street, Donisthorpe to provide a community space for the residents. Our investigations have led us to believe that this land was donated to miners and residents of the village along with the miners welfare. We have completed an exhaustive search for the owners but there are no deeds and no one has come forward. We are currently 2 years into a 12 year project to acquire the land. Our job at the moment is to maintain the land, show a presence and plan to make the space available for all in the long term.
